Intelius Nominated at 24th CODiE Awards
On March 21, 2009 Intelius was named a finalist in the 24th Annual CODiE Awards of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). Intelius is a company that empowers its clients and businesses with information thru the Internet for better and wiser decisions.
Launched in 2003, Intelius first started out as an online information provider supplying users with specific intelligence on particular individuals, including background checks, employment records, property holdings, contact and address information, social networking profiles, and other related options.
According to founder and CEO Naveen Jain, “Today, our society is continually on the move… therefore our contact information is constantly changing and people are left with nothing but dated information about us. iSearch [enables] people to link old and new information with online and offline data to instantly provide the most relevant results. We’re honored that the CODiE judges recognize the niche this product fills in the directory and people search space.”
The service was also a finalist that competed in the Best Online Directory & Business Leads Service Category of the CODiE Awards. Intellius‘ recently launched people search service, iSearch.com, allows users to do online searching with the use of their gathered information from a past or present background. This Intellius service uses proprietary semantic technology which connects a number of online and offline records from public, social networking and professional databases.
About the CODiE Awards
The CODiE Awards began as the Excellence in Software Awards by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), which then eventually became the CODiE Awards in 1993. It is still headed by the same group, now known as the Software & Information Industry Association. The CODiE Awards have celebrated exceptional achievement and vision in the software development, digital information and education technology commerce for over 24 years. In 2009, the CODiE Awards chose its outstanding services and products in over 60 categories.
