One does not need much, in order to make in Mauritius vacation: If you are citizens of the European union or Swiss citizen, then you need one still 6 months valid passport, a vacation address (hotel or apartment name) and a valid return flight ticket. (Other nationalities inquire better with the Mauritian consulates in your countries). So equipped you can remain up to 3 months in one go, in the country. (Maximum stay per year: is 6 months) the necessary documents (entry papers) you will receive in the airplane; in addition sometimes still another copy or second note is needed, what needs to be filled at the departure. (No concern, if this copy is lost – there is still time again to fill it out at the airport, where you get a new one). Also into some old travel guides still indicated, airport tax need to be paid but meanwhile it is included in all plane tickets. Importantly: And still people like to say, that you need to confirm your return ticket that is absolute nonsense.
