A Life in Invention – Nicholas Bredimus
Have you taken note of how a computing revolution has utterly changed hospitality and air travel as we all have known them recently? Behind all of this is New Jersey native Mr Nicholas Bredimus. This creative man has worked in a great many areas, from the luxury home design sector through a study of safety in the air and software programs to save manpower and time. Not only that but, in all cases, his emotional drive is clear. It could be predicted, mind you, that given his heritage he was a sure bet to reach prominence. Its lines can be traced back to the glory days of Rome and in fact Nicholas’ provenience can be linked to a great part of Europe. Within the maternal branch, for example, he hails from German and Scottish stock. A similarly broad mingling dominates his father’s side; before emigrating near the end of the nineteenth century, the family dwelt in Luxembourg and England. And after emigration to the United States, they continued their drive and determination to survive and thrive. Born one of seven children, Nicholas had a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who worked as a nurse. His dwellings over the course of many years ranged across a number of states.
Nicholas has worked in high powered jobs within firms across the air travel industry – most of them huge names. Nicholas Bredimus became a VP with airlines like Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Hughes Airwest. Most notable, even considering this, is his effort as an inspired software designer for the airline industry.
He is best known for a project for US Airways, his aircraft maintenance programs that come into use by the majority of air carrier companies. And yet this stands as just one of his essential innovations for airlines and for the hotel business. His booking software is on its way to becoming as commonly used as the aforementioned software, while the hotel reservation application he designed provided the chance for a great number of hotels to leverage a PC client based infrastructure. Pushing further into an alternate technology, he published a networking program to assist in ticket sales – another remarkable masterpiece.
No matter the fact that it is undeniably his specialty, Bredimus has also regularly worked on areas not connected to software. Key jobs with American Express and American Airlines were to come, and of course he launched a business of his own seventeen years ago.
So is he still working? Decidedly so – his savvy is still very much in demand and at the ready in spite of his having left prior interests behind. Currently, you can look for his work in upscale homes that feature many of the latest smart technologies on the market. Just further proof of just how much indefatigable zeal can actually accomplish!
